I love photos. Especially the ones published by National Geographic. That’s why I had to post the photo above. It’s one of the winners of the National Geographic Photo Contest 2010. Submitters could choose between three categories: People, Places and Nature. Photos were judged on creativity and photographic quality.

The photo displayed above is the winner in the category Places. The jury loved the spooky and futuristic feeling of the photo. The winning entries are publicized in the November issue of the magazine.
