Kiozk is a web-app which only shows activities taking place now or in the foreseeable future at the users current location. Users don’t search for activities anymore, instead they simply scroll through the list and browse for something fun or interesting to do.

I think of Kiozk as a modern equivalent of the well known kiosk, a small store available on locations where you need it the most. This led to an important design-question. Since the user shouldn’t need to visit a tourist office, collect dozens of flyers or search the Internet to find something to do, what should Kiozk look like? And how should it work? Do we need an actual brick and mortar store? Or is an app sufficient?

The answer? I ended up co-founding the Kiozk company and co-designed the app.
