Diana Memorial Fountain London
Located in Hyde Park is the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial. It’s an oval stone ring fountain which opened in 2004. The fountain was designed by Kathryn Gustafson, an American landscape artist. It consists out of 545 individual pieces of granite. The fountain is about 50 by 80 meters that surrounds, and is surrounded by, a lush grassy field.
The memorial is a great place to hang out at. People are allowed access to the structure and to the water which makes it ideal on a typical hot summer day. Kids enjoy the water while their parents are sunbathing in the grass. As my younger brother pointed out, every city should have such a place.
